Secondary Transfer Information
If your child is in Year 6 at Primary school in 2023, you can apply for a secondary school place for entry in September 2024 from 1st September 2023.
Your application must be submitted by 31st October 2023.

Alternatively you can download and send a paper application form. Some schools will require you to submit a supplementary application form. Should you require printed copies please speak to Mrs McHardy.

APPEALS
Parents have a legal right to appeal to an independent appeals panel against not being offered a place at a school which they have applied.
If your child’s application for a place at the school is unsuccessful, you will be informed why admission was refused and given information about the process for hearing appeals.
If you wish to appeal, you must set out the grounds for your appeal in writing and send it to the Admissions Committee:

Parents have 14 days in which to appeal following receipt of the letter informing them that their child has not been offered a place at this school.
When you have completed and submitted the appeal, arrangements will then be made for your appeal to be heard by an appeal panel.
Appeals resulting from transfer applications for admission to Reception for September will be heard according to the Wandsworth Primary school appeals timetable.
Should the appeal be unsuccessful, the Governing Board will not consider further applications from those parents within the same academic year unless there have been significant and material changes in their circumstances.
NB: There is no right to appeal for nursery places.
